1. Information We Collect

We collect minimal information to provide our service:

• Account information: Email address (when you create an account)
• Device information: Device model, OS version, app version (for compatibility and crash reporting)
• Usage analytics: Anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (no personal data, no video content)

We do NOT collect:

• Video or audio content from your cameras
• Location data (GPS)
• Contact lists
• Browsing history
• Any biometric data

2. How Video Works

• Video streams are transmitted peer-to-peer (P2P) directly between your devices. Video data does not pass through our servers.
• When P2P is not possible, video may be relayed through our TURN server. In this case, video passes through but is NOT stored, recorded, or accessed by us.
• Local recordings are stored on the camera device's local storage. We cannot access these recordings.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

We may share data only:

• With service providers who help us operate (e.g., crash reporting)
• When required by law
• With your explicit consent

4. Data Retention

• Account data is retained while your account is active.
• You can delete your account at any time from the app settings.
• Upon deletion, all account data is permanently removed within 30 days.

5. Children's Privacy

SpareCam is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Delete your account and data
• Export your data
• Opt out of analytics

7. Security

We use industry-standard encryption for all communications. Video streams use WebRTC with DTLS-SRTP encryption.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. We will notify you of significant changes through the app.
